Audio Converter

Converts an audio file between the formats the installed FFmpeg WebAssembly engine can actually produce (never an unverified format), with optional bitrate, sample rate, mono/stereo, and metadata removal. It shows the original format and codec when they can be determined, and never claims a lossless conversion when the output format is lossy.

Frequently asked questions

Does it show formats it can't actually produce?
No. Only the formats whose encoder is genuinely present in the FFmpeg WebAssembly engine loaded in your browser are shown.
Is the conversion always lossless?
No. Formats like MP3, OGG, or Opus use lossy compression; only WAV and FLAC are lossless, and the tool states this in every case.
